ADOM CLUB BREMAN ASIKUMA LBG emerged in response to the social and public health challenges associated with early and unintended pregnancies among adolescents in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa (AOB) District in the Central Region of the Republic of Ghana. Its conception and consequent birth emanated from a news item aired on the Ghanaian media landscape on 22nd March, 2023. This relates to the fact that the AOB District has topped the Central Region's 2022 teenage pregnancy tally with 576 recorded cases after having recorded 537 cases in 2021 to place second in the Region.
