Our Vision & Mission

Our Goal: Empowering Progress, Fostering Development

Our Vision

We aim to build a progressive and prosperous Breman Asikuma community in Ghana and beyond, where teenage pregnancy is eliminated, the cycle of poverty is broken, youth are empowered, and the environment is protected for current and future generations. Through our comprehensive programmes in awareness creation, education and skills training, financial assistance, and community development, we aim to control teenage pregnancy, combat human trafficking, break the cycle of poverty, and create lasting positive change in the lives of the people.

Our Mission

We exist to foster holistic development and empowerment in our community and beyond through the following initiatives:

  1. Addressing Teenage Pregnancy: We are committed to providing comprehensive sex education, access to reproductive healthcare, and social support to reduce teenage pregnancy rates and support young parents in their journey towards education and self-sufficiency.
  2. Combating Human Trafficking: We work tirelessly to raise awareness, provide protection, and support survivors of human trafficking, while advocating for stronger anti-trafficking measures within our community and nationally.
  3. Alleviating Food Insecurity: We promote sustainable agriculture, equitable access to nutritious food, and community-based solutions to food insecurity, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.
  4. Tackling Climate Change: We engage in environmental education, reforestation projects, and sustainable practices to mitigate the impacts of climate change within our community, building a greener and more climate-resilient future.
  5. Fostering Social and Economic Development: We empower community members including Persons With Disabilities, through a more inclusive green and digital transition activities, enhancing their skills and knowledge for modern, sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment.
  6. Building Inclusive Leadership: We promote inclusive leadership values, providing training and opportunities for community members, particularly women, to take active roles in decision-making and development.
  7. Skills Development and Employability: We offer quality apprenticeships, work-based learning, and skills development programmes to enhance employability, productivity, and entrepreneurship among our members, aligning with the diverse needs of the Ghanaian labour market

Through collaboration, advocacy, education, and sustainable initiatives, we aim to transform our community and beyond into a model of progress, inclusivity, and environmental stewardship. Together, we can build a better future for all, where no one is left behind.
